Kojakelin

July 23 - Aug 7
An Oriental mentality and rich traditions have shaped the character of this relatively unknown area, which lies beside the Great Silk Road. Majestic mountain ranges rising over 5000m (16,400 ft), steep cliffs, and high plateaus, determine the daily life of local herdsmen and nomads. Trek through unspoiled nature, often marked by colorful cliffs.

Here you will discover the warmth of the Kyrgyz and Uzbek cultures and the charm of a simple life.
More Details: This trek introduces you to an interesting mix of colorful market life, traditional craftsmanship, fine cuisine, and pristine nature. Impressive red rock dominates this beautiful mountain scenery. A good climb will be rewarded with awe-inspiring views of high snowy peaks and broad panoramas linked by countless mountain ranges.

You will trek along paths used by horse and yak, crossing rivers and pasture lands dotted with Kyrgyz yurts. You can see the Kyrgyz herdsmen, eat delicious pita bread with cream, and taste fermented mare's milk called Kymyz- all trademarks of the Kyrgyz Jailoo (summer pasture).
